My name is Geoff Sciacca (pronounced “Shaka”), and I’m a graphic designer/artist and professor of the same. My passion for the former might be only outweighed by my passion for the latter. Although I have spent an awful lot of time making work in the past nearly two decades, I’ve spent far more time investing myself into the work of training the next generation of artists and designers to make their own marks on the visual world. What’s shown on this site is a selection of work done in that time.
I've lived/worked in LA, Chicago, and Birmingham and have been a professor in the latter two. Presently, I'm an Associate Professor at Samford University and attempting to stay active as designer and printmaker. I have had the opportunity to design a number of book covers, but would like to do more.
I never quit social media…I’m just one of the weirdos who never started it. So, you can't "find" me there. I just count myself lucky that geoffsciacca.com has been sitting available since I last owned the domain name some 15+ years ago! I guess having an odd first and last name has the occasional advantage.
Wanna collab on something? Or talk to me to see if I'm a good fit for doing a project for you? Or just shoot the breeze about Volvos, coffee, fountain pens, or whatever? Use the form to drop me a line.
Thank you for reaching out! I'll get back to you soon…
