This print was created as a part of a portfolio exchange and exhibition entitled Past/Future/Presence to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of the New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art. My print is a response to feeling like Americans were moving towards a greater sense of unity, and then we reached a time when our country had forces at work that were dismantling what it meant to be American and calling it "patriotism."
