Hand-pulled screen print
17" x 11"
11-colors
100lb Cougar
Edition: 60

When printmaking guru Curtis Readel invited me to join a print portfolio he was curated entitled Hatebreeders (inspired by the Misfits' song of the same name), I felt an obligation to compensate for the imposter syndrome for showing alongside such heavy-hitters. My print was created in response to the global tragedy of child soldiers. It highlights the irony that children should be picking up toys, not arms of war. In retrospect, I probably shouldn't have created an 11-color print to hand-pull an edition of 60. If the body keeps the score, I'm still losing from that one.
*This portfolio was exhibited at least 5 times in 2 countries, and is in the permanent collection at the Syracuse University Museum.
