This is a piece I made in response to walking my youngest through a very difficult battle with leukemia, concluding in a long, difficult, but successful bone marrow transplant. We spent over 125 nights in various children's hospitals, and I found it incredibly ironic how unhealthy the dietary options were in a place that was endeavoring to restore life and health. This painful irony is as strong as the visual reappropriation of letters from the fronts of boxes of such sugar cereals with the message thinly obscured by the type of puzzle that would commonly be found on the backs of the same boxes.
